This volatile oil is obtained by steam distillation of the wood of the Camphor Tree followed by fractionation of the oil. It has a piercing, sharp and pungent, camphoraceous odour. Camphor Essential Oil should be used well diluted. Warming oil during the winter season. Can be used as a steam inhalent (a few drops of oil in water). Insect repellent (flies and moths).
