Raw/ Organic Facial Cleansing Wipes

The new Organic Facial Cleansing Wipes are an excellent product – possibly the best Rawganic one yet.
They are mild, effective, and suitable for all skin types – a very pleasant way to cleanse, tone and moisturise skin. They are particularly good at removing cosmetic residue from the face.
The packaging is also very striking – and introduced the new Rawganic branding.
Free from colourants, Alcohol free, PEG free, Chlorine free, pH skin neutral, Soil Association accreditation, Vegetarian Society accreditation
As with all Rawganic products, these wipes are both organic and vegetarian, and have been certified by both the Soil Association and the Vegetarian Society.
The organic accreditation requires that all the ingredients are non-GM, something we are happy to comply with.
The product is based on a 100% organic cotton fabric that has no chemical binders or brightening agents – it is just organic cotton.
This makes the wipes completely biodegradable.
Because the wipes are so mild, they can be used as part of a daily facial cleansing routine.
Equally, there are no worries using the wipes on babies or for any other part of the body.

The cleansing liquid contains natural cleansers, skin conditioners and emollients – so it is naturally soothing and conditioning.
Most people will know just how soothing aloe vera is, which is why it is the main ingredient of the liquid. The other signature ingredient, green tea, has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese herbal remedies.
There are no ingredients included just to colour or fragrance the product – the wipes’ pleasant and distinctive fragrance simply comes from the materials used to make them.
Like all Raw Organic products, these wipes have been thoroughly dermatologically tested on human volunteers by Alba Science Ltd – a specialist test organisation based in Scotland.
They performed well in these tests, even after skin exposures of 24 and 48 hours.
THE INGREDIENTS
The wet cleansing liquid is a blend that has been specially balanced for skin contact. The pH is carefully controlled to around 5.5 – so matches the skin pH for most people (and thus won’t sting).
There is nothing in the product that the regulators might see as medicinal in nature, although green tea has a long history of use in traditional Chinese medicines.
This is a complete list of ingredients, just as shown on the product packaging, with an explanation of what each ingredient does (a list is needed in this form so that we comply with the EC Cosmetics Directive).
This is a wet wipe, so it comes as no surprise that the largest ingredient is water.
However, that water is very carefully purified before going into the wipe.
