Greenlife – More than just a Health Store
Located on the market square at the top of Totnes, we are one of the largest health food shops in the South West. Greenlife has been trading since 1990. Our ethos has always been to source from local suppliers where possible, and to offer the widest possible selection of ethically traded products on our shelves. We stock many vegan, dairy free and gluten free foods, and the majority of the products that we sell are organic.

Fair Trade
Greenlife is committed to supporting ethical business and Fair Trade, and we carry a wide range of Fairtrade Foundation and Fair For Life kite marked products.
Our efforts in support of the Fairtrade Foundation have been rewarded with no less than six South West Fairtrade business awards. We were proud to achieve gold in 2019.
The Environment
Greenlife is dedicated to supporting the organic food industry and to promoting organic supplements and beauty products. We also sell a wide range of eco products and sustainable solutions.
We have drastically reduced the plastic on our shelves and are working with suppliers to go even further towards the twin goals of plastic reduction and recycling. We have a recycling point in store for the plastic bags from our own label Greenlife products.
Greenlife is a Living Wage Employer
Greenlife is proud to be an accredited Living Wage Employer. Our Living Wage commitment sees that everyone working at Greenlife receives a minimum hourly wage that is significantly higher than the government minimum for over 23s.
Local Community
We are proud to be a part of the local community through our relationships with local suppliers and producers.
Our policy of stocking local or U.K. producers where available is also in line with our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint. In addition, we have a very popular community notice board which is used by local health practitioners and by our customers as a place to advertise local events. We also have a permanent collection point in store for the Stepping Stones Totnes CIC food bank.
