You can find a large range of cruelty-free Natural Bodycare products in store. We have all the products you need to help you to achieve and maintain radiant and vibrant skin and naturally beautiful hair without the use of synthetic additives such as petrochemicals, parabens, mineral oils or sodium laureth sulphate. Our beauty buyers select products based on quality, the nature of the ingredients, ethics and value for money. Advice is always on hand from one of our experienced team of health and beauty advisors.
Sustainable Living & Eco products
We are always on the lookout for more products to add to our extensive range of eco and sustainable living solutions. These include reusable water bottles, stainless steel food containers, coffee cups and many other products made from sustainable materials such as bamboo, rice husk and coconut. We also have a broad range of household cleaning products from top green brands.
Greenlife stock a large selection of reusable water bottles from top brands such as Chilly’s and One Green Bottle. We sell biodegradable household products and eco alternatives to plastic containers such as A Slice Of Green stainless steel food containers and Abeego Beeswax Food Wraps. We have disposable cutlery made from bamboo; plates and cups made from biodegradable sugar cane fibre and reusable cups made from bamboo or rice husk. Our substantial household section includes top brands such as Ecover, Bio D, Ecoleaf and many more.
Local Suppliers
Greenlife are proud to offer a range of products from local businesses in the Totnes area and the South West. Much of our fresh produce is sourced from local Devon farms and growers, and over the years we have given many small businesses a foothold in the health food industry.
We get regular deliveries from local Organic Dairy Producers such as Riverford, Norsworthy, and Challons Combe. Much of the fresh produce in our fruit and veg department is from local farms, including: Old Cumming Farm, Riverford, The Apricot Centre in Dartington and Shillingford Organics, Exeter. Our wide range of local Devon brands include Luscombe Drinks, Heron Valley, Burt’s Crisps, Owen’s Coffee, Tideford Organics, ReRooted plant milks, Clive’s Pies, The Clay Cure Company and Venus Hemp to name just a few.
Organic Fruit & Vegetables
All of the fresh fruit and vegetables in our vibrant Fruit & Veg department is certified Organic, and much of it is locally sourced. We are proud to offer a large range of seasonal vegetables from local Devon farms. Dealing directly with growers means that we have an ever changing selection of quality produce, often including a handful of less widely available varieties to keep it interesting, enabling you to bring a healthy variety to your plate!
Sourcing locally is part of the Greenlife ethos and building strong relationships with nearby farmers and growers is important to our Fruit & Veg team. Much of what we sell is grown within just a few miles of Totnes. Local organic suppliers include Old Cumming Farm near Buckfastleigh, Shillingford Organics in Exeter, and Riverford Farm, Staverton. In addition, we stock biodynamic certified salad, fresh herbs and kale from the Apricot Centre at Dartington, and our amazing organic watercress is grown here in Totnes by Jim!
Our Fruit & Veg team are also committed to waste reduction. You won’t find any pointless plastic trays in store. Reusable cotton produce bags are available for sale, as well as free paper bags to carry loose produce home. A growing selection of salad leaves, other green leaves and herbs are available to buy loose instead of pre weighed bags.

You can find an extensive range of quality supplement brands on our shelves, including Vitamin & Mineral supplements, Herbal Remedies, Homeopathic Remedies, Flower Remedies, Aromatherapy Oils, Medicinal Mushrooms, Superfoods and Protein Powders. Our supplements buyers are always looking for new and trending products in the natural health sector. If you are looking for vegan foods or a gift for a vegan friend or relative, then Greenlife has plenty of options. We sell a huge range of vegan dairy product alternatives, meat alternatives, savoury snacks, biscuits, cakes, wines, vitamin supplements, bodycare products and even vegan ice cream. A vegan diet is good for your health, good for the environment and is a better use of global food resources – and there has never been an easier time to ‘go vegan.’ With more than 24,000 products and services registered with the vegan trademark alone you can now get a vegan alternative to almost anything, and we carry many of them on our shelves.
The quality of some of the vegan products we sell means that they are also appealing to non-vegans purely based on their taste. For example, Tyne Chease, an artisan, award winning ‘cheese alternative’ made from cashew nuts has both a texture and taste that is leagues above what used to be available for vegans. If you are looking for wheat or gluten free produce, we have an extensive range of gluten free pasta, a wide range of gluten free flours, plus breads, biscuits, cakes, sauces and more. Our broad selection of alternative grains may be an eye opener too if all you thought you could eat was rice! We have a large selection of milk alternatives, made from soya, oats, hemp, almonds, coconuts to name just a few! Our dairy free fridges and freezers are packed full of spreads, cheese alternatives, dairy free yoghurts and yummy dairy free ice cream.
Wholefoods
At Greenlife we have all you need to adopt a healthy diet that is free from processed and refined foods. We carry a large selection of traditional wholefoods on our shelves, so you can find all the brown rice you need, but we also try to offer as many interesting grains and unprocessed cereals as we can – from Amaranth to Quinoa! You won’t find any products containing partially hydrogenated fats in store, and nothing on our shelves contains artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Much of what is on our shelves is certified organic, including all fresh fruit and veg. If you are adopting a raw diet, we are constantly adding to our raw product range too.
We have a large selection of dried fruit and nuts and offer regular monthly deals on big bags of your organic dried favourites. In addition, our cereal selection boasts a wider range of granolas and mueslis than you will find in any supermarket, and we carry an extensive range of herbal teas. We stock many sugar alternatives such as agave syrup and coconut sugar, as well as healthy natural sweeteners like xylitol and stevia, and we also sell reduced sugar versions of various types of cakes, biscuits and confectionery.
