Heron Valley Juices

Located deep in the heart of Devon, near the picturesque village of Loddiswell, Heron Valley have been making award winning fruit juices and cider for generations.

Their delicious, natural and 100% pure fruit juices are hand-made from sustainably grown Devon apples and other fruit sourced as locally as possible to the farm at Heron Valley. They add no preservatives, additives or other nasties such as sulphites or unnecessary E numbers.

There is approx. 1.3g of fruit in every 75cl bottle of apple juice, and no sugar is added at all, just
the finest high quality whole fruit and vitamin C. Many of the apple varieties used in Heron Valley apple juices are from rare indigenous trees. Only English apples are used – washed and pressed, before being bottled by hand and gently pasteurised.

Their new orchards feature some of the oldest heritage apple varieties from the west country, and they are working closely with the Wildlife Trust to develop beautiful, sustainable orchards with pollinator friendly wildflower meadows.

Heron Valley Apple Orchards

Greenlife stock a hugely popular selection of Heron Valley apple juices. One of our favourites is their Apple & Ginger juice – a warming spiced apple juice made using whole root ginger infused in their award winning cloudy sweet apple juice. Bursting with earthly goodness, it is great both served cold and gently warmed in the winter months. Also look out for their Pear and Apple juice. A Gold Winner at the Great Taste Awards, it’s naturally sweet and delicious, and perfect for breakfast. Their Sweet Apple is absolutely delicious too. A cloudy apple juice, it’s made using up to 10 varieties of apple including Cox pippin, Rubens, Jonagold and heritage varieties, making it naturally sweet.

Alongside their apple juices, you will also find a selection of Heron Valley bubbly drinks on our shelves, plus their wonderful, mellow unpasteurised raw cider vinegar. We also carry their tasty, well rounded Devon cider. This medium still cider is made in an entirely authentic way, using Devon cider apples from local orchards, fermented using the natural wild yeasts on the skins of the fruit, with no added yeasts or sulphites, just proper cider apples and patience. Worth waiting for in our opinion.

All Heron Valley products are suitable for vegans and coeliacs.
